The Little Flower Senior Living

The Little Flower is located in Charlotte, the “Queen City” and provides an ideal location for visitations. Originated by two local Catholic parishioners, the Diocese of Charlotte is still very supportive of our philosophy and spiritual programs. Now owned by Premier Senior Living, The Little Flower continues to have great relationships with many local congregations to this day.

LIFESTYLES

Designed to feel like home, The Little Flower is a moderately priced assisted living residence for seniors who wish to maintain their individuality in a residential setting. Residents are encouraged to furnish their suites with familiar furniture, cherished belongings, and personal photographs. Our wrap-around porch, courtyard, cheerful nook lounges, and cozy living room provide a variety of settings for socializing and enjoying those golden years. We strive to make sure you are comfortable, safe, and secure once you’ve joined our family.

The Catholic Distinction:

Named in honor of Saint Therese of Lisieux, who was known as “The Little Flower”, our residence and staff are dedicated to the belief that we must cherish those lives which have grown in wisdom through the passage of time. We continue to offer regular Mass and Communion services. And, while both our chapel and our artwork are Catholic in orientation, The Little Flower is open to all seniors who are appropriate for assisted living regardless of their religious preference.

We offer a one-level floor plan that includes private and semi-private studio options.

Testimonials

Gardens of Statesville a “five” across the board

I’d give the Gardens of Statesville a “five” across the board. They exceeded my expectations. I think that would be where I would take daddy if he needed it today. I would do anything in the world to get him in there. The visit I had was excellent. The person I spoke with was extremely professional, approachable, and knowledgeable about his folks, his clientele, and his staff, and he was extremely respectful, too. I was very impressed. I was not given a complete tour because of COVID, but I was able to see a sample room, a typical room like where my dad would be, the TV room, the cafeteria or the place where they gather to eat, and the different gathering places. In a lot of nursing homes that I’ve been to, there were people just kind of hanging out at the nursing station, looking pretty forlorn in their wheelchairs, and that’s not what happened in Gardens. They looked pretty highly engaged, and I appreciate that about this facility.

I have been volunteering there since 2001 with another family. We love it! Little Flower has all kinds of activities for the residents and also have great volunteers that help them add to activities. They look for different ways of entertaining the residents. My mom is now a resident there. She’s blind and they take exceptionally good care of her. I highly recommend Little Flower Assisted Living. The staff is wonderful!

Little Flower is an absolute jewel. My mom has been there for 4 years. I know that she is in the very best facility in Charlotte. I trust the staff and the management. I recommend Little Flower to everyone who is looking for a safe and loving facility for their family. I have even told my boys that when the time comes, Little Flower is where I want to be.

My father was a resident at The Little Flower in Mint Hill, NC and we consider ourselves blessed to have found the place. It’s not a huge facility and its’ size is really part of its charm. The staff works together as a team and truly cares for the residents. I could not have wished for better care for my father and am eternally grateful he was there when the pandemic started. He was extremely well-cared for when we could no longer be by his side.

My mother-in-law lived at Little Flower for 6 years until her passing at age 101. She loved the facility, the staff, the activities and always complimented the food. My husband and I and our family were so pleased with the amazing care she received at Little Flower-they deserve 10 stars instead of just 5!

My Mom just moved to Jenni-Lynn at a difficult time following the recent death of her husband. The staff has comforted her through this difficult period and helped ease the transition. My Mom always comments on the great staff members and the excellent food. JL really makes the residents feel at home. Paula was invaluable to me as I tried to find a warm, caring place for my Mom. Many thanks to Paula and her staff.

My Mom started in the independent living. She was able to go to the assisted living center for any activities they had each day. She normally had lunch and dinner there. We recently had to move her to assisted living at Jenni-Lynn’s. They do a great job of caring for her. We don’t have to worry about whether she is taking her medication when see you get it. They give her 3 meals a day. They also , help with her bathing, washing her clothes and cleaning her rooms. She likes most of her meals. She is picky about how her vegetables are cooked. We have peace of mind that she is being taken care of
